There are lots of examples, they pretend (or not):
- they are going to die (man flu and almost each dicease)
- they are scared (taking of blood or injection)
- they can't move or act (stomachache, hit to the groin, headache)
Women have a higher pain tolerance and better immune system overall than men. Simply put, women are biologically better at handling illness. However, that natural advantage can be negated if a man is determined enough. For example, seemingly minor things register as pain to me, but if I'm in a fight I'll ignore bigger injuries that people who know me everyday would think I could not handle because of my relatively low pain tolerance on a daily basis. As for hit in the groin, it has been medically proven to be more painful than childbirth, but does not last as long. What makes childbirth suck so much is how long it is drawn out. I doubt any man could endure that pain for long. I admire women for being able to handle it, sometimes multiple times because the first time you don't know what to expect but you do later and still do it anyways. As for fear of shots and injections, that is individual more than gender.
1. Kick to the nuts is never overreaction. It really does hurt.
2. Anything else just depends on the type of guy. If he is a pussy he will try to exaggerate everything to get sympathy. But most of the guys I have known are stoic. They hide their pain , not exaggerate it.
3. I don't know what you are talking about. Manflu and injections. That's just nonsense you wrote there
I mean don't they biologically handle less pain? (/Have a smaller pain tolerance)
Something to do with birth and periods.

Vote C didn't make much sense to me, personally.
I myself can handle quite a bit of pain. But when I read that part with the groin hitting. Getting hit in the balls is obviously going to hurt like a motherfucker.
I've had my skin cut open to the point of seeing bone. I've fractured bones and even snapped some off.
Emotional pain hurts WAY more and lasts WAY longer than physical pain, for the most part.
There has been so many studies on pain tolerance between the sexs and there has never been any real consensus because pain is really hard to measure and is very nebulous topic. It varys person to person a ton as well.
I guess it depends then, I could prob. take a punch better than my sister, but i'd prob be crippled if i had to deal with period cramps or whatever.
Human behavior is so funny... all I ever see is people trying to convince themselves and others that they're better. And this is no different than any other run-of-the-mill "I'm better than you because I'm (fill in the blank)"
And all it does is highlight your insecurities. If you have to kick others down to make yourself feel you're better than they are, deep down you know they're better than you.
"Guys" encompasses over 3.5 billion people on the planet. Why would you think that your cherry-picked anecdotal experience with a few dozen is a general trait?
I always thought it was the other way around. That we were the ones who handled it better.
What moment made you say that we overreact? What happened?
That is odd. It must have been on hell of a stomachache.
Not according to this study.

I have experienced tons of pain in life though. Hmm? I agree we don't know what a birth is like though.
It's bulshit!
