Just so you know, im not a hottie or anything, I’m average looking and a 6 on my good days. I found it normal at first that maybe an average looking dude or ugly dude might end up, asking me out, but I feel disappointed because, there’s one guy who look extremely hot, ( he’s like super hot, and he get many women lurking at him), cause he’s tall, good looking, and smart, so I thought that I could maybe develop a meaningful friendship with him, since he won’t be attracted to me, but yesterday he confessed his feelings for me and asked me if we could be more than friends, because he started to developed some “romantic feelings” which disappointed me. I’m low-key aromantic and even tho I have many female friends, and some gay male friands, I wanna know how it feels like, to have a platonic close relationship with a straight man, without him wanting to date me or bang me. Is it too much to ask for?

Yes, it is too much to ask for. Let's see: You already have friends. If you desperately want friends of the opposite gender for some reason (totally unnecessary, in my opinion), you have your gay friends who won't hit on you. Still, you find the need to go after heterosexual dudes, and then complain that they want more than just friendship. Hardly surprising, don't you think? I don't know, I heard that men don't really discuss feelings with their friends but a lot more women do, so when men become friends with women they have a lot more personal discussions with them then they will with their male friends so they get more romantic.
They are probably friends with you waiting for their shot to be with you. They befriend you to know about you and you let your guard down. A gentleman is just a patient wolf.
Wow, you are the opposite of what girls usually say on relationships. Most want them, and sometime develop feeling with friends with benefits. I don't get why some people don't want a relationship with a good looking fellow. Clue us in.
Most often if u have a male friend and asked for sex kiss or to date them more than likely they'd say yes.

Because they're single and if they find their friend attractive, who better to turn into a partner?
"Is it too much to ask for?" If he's single... well maybe. Why would they sit around with a platonic female friend when they're single and want more? Makes no sense.
Men aren't loved. That's how we mistake basic kindness from women with "Is she into me?" and may catch such feelings.

Id be willing to bet you are very good looking with a great personality. That is a TNT combination for guys. And sometimes it doesn't have to involve good lucks, just having an awesome personality does the trick.

Straight males do NOT make friends with females they are not sexually interested in.
@SeaSprayBreeze It is literally fact. Regardless of what males tell you. No straight male will make time in his life for a girl he doesn’t want to have sex with. You know no male who wakes up and calls fat ugly tina to “see how her day is”... but any pretty girl has a dozen males who do that on a regular.
But now that you mention it, Women are shallow as fuck... and for more reasons. Men don’t fuck around... we want you in our life if you are not fat. Period. Otherwise we don’t fuck with you. Women need a male to fit a multitude of endless unrealistic expectations or they don’t consider him good enough, but they will keep him around for the attention, to use him for money, and get him to do shit for her... she will even whine to him about the guys she fucks who she thinks are good but turn out to toss her ass.
