Why do some men want to FaceTime so quickly on dating apps?

I just downloaded this dating app called Hinge and I’ve had guys ask me to FaceTime after we only exchanged two messages... why so fast? I’d rather message a few more times to see if we have anything in common.

For me, there is a value to see each other in person. To see if that chemistry is there. It's very possible to text with them for two weeks then facetime for an hour and realize they are not your type. I'd rather text for a day and facetime for an hour rather than waste a couple of weeks deciding. If they answer the first day, I say text with them then. Let the conversation be casual but ask them a few questions. Then decide if it's worth facetiming after the first day. For me, it's worth it to get it done and move on. Blind dates did exist before covid and the internet. But this is one better as you have a profile and you are able to ask questions before
