I met this guy online a few months ago, but recently we’ve been talking almost everyday. He lives really far away and I’m not ready for a relationship Rn because I recently got out of one. Because we talk so often I began developing feelings for him. I decided to tell him so that he could be aware. I said that if he didn’t feel the same I would prefer it if we didn’t talk so consistently but would still like to be friends. He told me that he understood and that he “really really” enjoys talking to me and that he still wanted to talk to me, also that he would love to meet me if either of us was ever in town. Is that a subtle way of him saying he likes me too or was he just being polite?
