Why he lost his interest out of the blue?

I was seeing a guy. We met 6 or 7 times and had only a short kiss. We used to talk everyday. He greeted me every morning and said really nice things to me, like really. He showed me romantic songs and bought chocolates for me. On valentines day he appeared at my house with a bunch of snacks because I told him I really like chips. He told me he wanted to fall in love with me. He told me he wanted something serious and I told him I was kind of toxic and he told he didn't care, that he also had some issues but we could work it out together. Like I swear I am not exaggerating he literally seemed really interested in me. He told me I was the first girl who was interested in him and really i can't believe that is true because he is reaaally handsome and intelligent and told me he had been single for 5 years but he talked to a lot of girls he was interested in. He started to work full time in his uncle's market and since then EVERYTHING changed. He barely wrote me. Literally he stopped greeting me in the morning and barely wrote me when he had free time. He is a cashier and told me he used his cellphone a lot. So i dont understand.. that is clearly a signal of lack of interest. I confronted him I told him why he started behaving like that. I am not imagining things, he basically started to ignore me. The other day we were chatting through instagram and he told me "well I am going to do other stuff" it was like he told me "stop talking to me" but didn't want to be straightforward and it is not that I was stalking him but he kept online on kntagram until 3 am. I startes suspecting he is talking to other girls. I really can't figure his behaviour out. He told me to see me on Thursday and I made an excuse and he told me to see me on Sunday then. (Today) and today I told him I had plans so I cancelled him again because i dont want to see him.. I think it will hurt me so much if he keeps having this attitude.
