What does it mean for an ex to send you a song?

We were texting yesterday evening and he randomly sent me a song. When I asked him what made him send it after listening to it, he said that he liked it and figured I would too. The song was very sensual and intimate, it’s not a song someone who just likes someone as a friend would sing. It was a 90 R&B song by Silk called “Meeting in my Bedroom” if you want to listen or read the lyrics. I’d like for someone to listen to or read and then answer to give an honest answer. Guys wouldn’t do this, especially an ex boyfriend, if he didn’t have feelings right?

Thanks so much! I like to think we’re a great love story. And yeah, timing can be crucial. Right person, wrong time, sometimes. But if you fight it out for a while, sometimes the timing can finally align right. My lady was getting poisoned by psychiatrists since before we even met, and that ended up basically being the whole problem. She’s still recovering, but we’re fighting through it together, and we’ll be back on track hopefully sooner rather than later. She just needed to discover the root of her issues, and I need to be patient and just bet on us. And it’s looking like a winning bet, so no regrets, other than lost time. So I’m rooting for you guys, best of luck, hope it all works out for the best!🙏

I just got off the phone with the guy in question and at one point he wanted to tell me something. He told me that I’m a special girl and that there’s not many like me, and that I’m wife material, I thought he was about to confess his love for me or something the way he was talking. But I thought it was so super sweet! What do you think?

If it's over between you two, then you need to make it clear and not lead him on. You should not encourage casual conversation in text either for a while so that he doesn't get the wrong impression.
