Why does my boyfriend keep bringing up my nails if he doesn’t like them?

I always wear acrylic or gel nails. Even before we dated, he told me he’s not crazy about the nails. Some designs he likes better than others, and he’s fine with them because he knows I like them, but he isn’t a big fan. Anyways he’s always teased me over my nails, like calling them Wolverine nails, which I’ve always thought was funny, but I’ve noticed he brings them up a lot. Nothing bad, stuff like “you and those nails”, and asks me questions. He asked how I put gloves on to begin with, and as time has gone on he’s asked me how I wiped and if I’m able to finger myself with them 🤦🏽‍♀️ I feel like he’s into them now? Otherwise I don’t know what to make with him always talking about them.
