Why is my guy best friend suddenly acting cold and distant?

we were pretty close and spoke normally everyday until he met this girl who seemingly replaced our friendship... he started being short with me and i barely hear from him now.. he says he's just busy but ik its an excuse bc he's on fb regularly, he calls this new girl his work girlfriend but they hang out after work even tho she has a boyfriend... i just want my best friend back... he's in complete denial that he's different

This happens all the time when a friend meets a girl. She replaces you in the friendship. Its not fair, but it happens. Tell him how you feel and let it go at that. And focus on making new friends.
