My boyfriend went to a church camp and met this girl, cuddled with her, and had intentions on hooking up with her but did not. They started texting and flirting and making plans and he lied to her saying we were broken up. A week later he told her he just wanted to stay friends because he still loved me. I found out about this girl the day he came back because there was a video on social media of him cuddling with the girl. He lied to me and told me they were just friends and that I was being paranoid. The girl sent me a screenrecording of her texts with him and I confronted him about it and he's apologizing and saying he's sorry and does not know why he did it. It has been a week since a found out that he lied to me about everything and he keeps begging for me back and that he fucked up and won't ever mess up with me again because he realizes how much I meant to him. I wanna believe because I love him and I understand people mess up but it hurts so bad and I dont know what to do.

break up with him. he's only apologizing because you caught him, not because he feels guilty. had you never found out, things would have gone farther with this girl. you deserve respect, especially from yourself. dont let him play these games with you. cut him loose before he hurts you more.

This will be very hard to read if you really love him. However, obviously if someone backstabs you in such a deceitful manner they cannot be trusted. You can choose to take him back but it will be a GIANT mistake to do this. It is EXTREMELY likely to happen again. He is definitely degenerate and you can't change him from engaging in this behavior without changing who he is as a person. I don't say that to give you hope but to do the opposite as most degenerates are always degenerates.

Break up with him the same thing happened to me and I realised at the end of the day that once they do it they always do it again no point putting your self through that even though u love him your gonna be the one that gets fucked over all over again if u stay with him put your self first u deserve so much more xx

If i was you i would wait to break up. If you truly love him you are going to have to sit him down and communicate directly. You need to try to work through it before giving up.
