Can a guy be shy by showing themselves at you but they don’t look? He always looked and he still does but sometimes he just shows himself?

There is a guy who I think is interested in me. He works in front of my house as an constructionworker. In the beginning he said a lot of hi, he tried to help me with my bike once but he got shy and he once waited on the streets for me. I think he wanted to ask me something. We had 2 stare moments and his friend always tease him when u go outside. But since 2 months he kept more quiet after I saw him staring at me from my car. I stared back and after 6 seconds he got awkward and looked away. After that I still saw him looking at me when I walked to my car and one day he said hi. Lately I have this feeling that he started to like a girl next to my house. So when he walks by I don’t know if he does that For me or for her. Since 2 days I didn’t go outside and I saw him looking and today I opened my window and I saw him exactly standing in a way I could see him. However my feeling tellls me he didn’t do that for me but for another girl who lives there. Because he didn’t look, he was getting of his sweat. And he only looked once but it was her way where she lives. Would he be standing there for me? Ignoring me even though he likes me. Yesterday I heard his friend again teasing him when I looked back. But now I question myself if he was walking there for the other girl

Really? Sometimes I see a shy glance in his face. He always talks louder when I go outside but somehow he is also quiet. I am very shy too. I only had 1 relationship and I have never been approached by a guy.

If I am attracted to a female as I'm shy and had girls play games before. I will take short glancing looks over at her, I don't stare, I try to smile and only sometimes might say something funny or pull their leg, if she isn't friendly, if she is stuck up (that I'm out of her league) or doesn't show any interest, if I see someone else I fancy I won't waste my time on her as had girls string me along. I would do the same seeing if any chemistry. You can try doing mirroring if he knows what to do you look at him at touch your ear if he touches his ear there's a chance he fancies you, research the mirroring techniques as quite a few, open or closed posture. Maybe you could just say Hi have you heard of mirroring? a friend was talking about where someone is interested in someone else and they do mirroring copying what the other person does if he hasn't suggest he searches it say it's quite interesting. The next time you see him look at him and run your hands through your hair if he touches his hair he's mirrored you, if you touch your ear and he touches his, (do a few more different mirroring techniques) if he continues he probably is interested in getting to know you (some can play games and lead you on to boost their stinking ego but that's usually the cocky ones so please bear that in mind and don't get hurt)
