Does it mean anything if my guy friend spoons or cuddles with me?

The day me and my guy friend hung out we watched a movie in his room later that night which we had done before but that night he asked if I wanted to try spooning w him and he wanted to be little spoon so I ended up big spooning him and he took my hand and started fondeling with it and swirling his thumb on it and after we just cuddled that whole night.

I don’t want to read into this too much bc I don't know how much the little details matter but he also is not touchy with anyone else we’re friends with and every now and then he mentions some girl he likes that we’re also friends with even though he’s supposedly getting over her and also is not touchy with.

I just wanna know with all this context if everything that happened that night with me and him could possibly not mean anything to him?

I have a very close friend who is a girl that was comfortable with us being like that. Absolutely no sexual activity we are just the best of friends. Now that she has a long-standing boyfriend, we are not as close. So it can be very confusing, sometimes it’s just best to ask flat out.

That he wants to be more than just friends with you and if you’re letting him do that, I think you probably want to be more than friends with him also. I suggest that if you do, try grinding up against him next time you two are cuddling.
