so my crush told his parents that I have childhood trauma due to domestic violence (I do have PTSD as a result of it but I can't do much of my life circumstances) and he showed them our usual conversations where We have been chatting for 1 year 4 months and said that I was harassing him also I have been trying to talk to him in person and knocked at his door 3 times in 3 months. He took his lawyer and went to the police station to prosecute me. The policemen were like that's not a huge of a deal. They told him not to do that, they will talk to me first if ever I persist then he can go forward. After I received a notice, i cut all contact with him. I really liked him but that was too much.
what impression does it give about me by backing off?

It say you can be mature enough and in control, about things you've healed from your wounds.

Im sure your a wonderful person and there probably is someone out there. Leave this person be. If they can't see the good you bring to the table.
