Sometimes other times it’s a learning moment. And example of this would be the battle of Gallipoli where the British got their asses handed to them and Winston Churchill was blamed for it at the time. We all know he learn from this mistake and ended up being a great leader during World War II

Emotions are the root of our actions and way of thinking. A leader needs to be empathetic because she/he needs to know what is the emotional status of the group she/he leads. However there are emotions like feeling if inferiority or self-pity which are absolutely counter productive for a person in leading position. A leader has to motivate and not to put others down.
A person's emotions can be taken into account for any leader. But a good leader makes decisions and takes actions due to facts, logic, and ethics. For example, you may really, really like a subordinate, but if they royally screw up you may have to fire them.
A man can show emotions; however they must be based on facts, figures, logic, etc. If he's lacking those than no one will follow him.
LACK of emotions make a good leader, that’s why MOST women don’t belong in leadership roles, they lead with emotion
Sure, but only so long as he is not a slave to them. He has to be in control at all times, that doesn't mean he doesn't except his emotions, they are his advisors not his leader.
I think you need empathy and compassion to be a good leader. My leadership style always began and ended with trust. If the people that worked for me had no trust in me they would not be able to perform as well. It takes empathy to create trust.
Depends what you mean, but generally speaking, emotional intelligence is a desirable quality in a leader.
A good/great leader would have empathy so yeah that's an emotion.
A good spirit is a strong one. Like how the floor here is made of floor
