Did my boyfriend exaggerate the pain and think I'm stupid?

My boyfriend got hit in the balls not too long ago while playing sports. He had to sit on the bleachers for a bit. But then I noticed he started to talk with another injured girl.
He actually never came back because he said it hurt too much.
I start to think he made a too bigger deal out of it and used it as an excuse to sit out and talk with the other girl.

How much time does it take to recover according to you? To be honest it doesn't look like he was hit that hard. Maybe he thinks I'm stupid

You can't know for sure. Being hit in the testicles can cause some sharp pain to the guys and we obviously can't understand fully it
I'd let him explain and see what happen with that girl next

I don't say it doesn't hurt but rather he could have taken advantage of the situation. He already spend a while immobilized to the floor before sitting out

I don’t understand your logic? Pro Athletes get injured so badly they can’t play all the time where they have to sit out but still talk to people on the bench.


Just because he has an injury doesn’t mean he can’t talk. When a guy gets hit there it is extremely painful at first. If it was hard enough it can make the guy sore afterwords. He likely was so sore that it hurt to play and run. How was he hit? What sport? If he fell down I doubt he was over exaggerating. Guys want to appear tough. No guy wants to look like a wimp.
