I met a guy through a mutual friend and we hangout in the same bar. He showed an interest in me, we talked, we hooked up but he didn’t want anyone knowing about us. It all started with friends noticing his behavior, he would be acting shaky, nervous around me. Friends of his would call him and tell him I’m at the bar and he would come in with a big smitten face on him. He even told me once his finances were in order he wanted to take me out and start dating me properly.
When the rumors started of something must be going on, our mutual friend overreacted and wanted to know if it was true. He lied and said nothing was going on and he bailed on me leaving me to deal with the mess he created. I tried reaching out to him but with no response.
i saw him not long after and we ignored each other. He saw me come into the bar with one of my male friends and I know it really bothered him. I tried again to be friendly and we were back talking. It didn’t last long, he said that I was blocking his chances with other girls in the bar. The next day i text him saying he has made me out to be not good enough for him, how I deserve to be treated with value and respect, he can never be the supportive loving boyfriend I need in my life and he is easily replaced and good luck to him. I found out not long ago he is dating other girls, and I was also told he is doing this to make me jealous.
i also know he doesn’t like seeing me out socializing and talking to other guys it really irritates him as I don’t pay him any attention. When I’m out with one of my friends in the same bar he will mention it our mutual friend he saw me in there.
Recently he has started this hate campaign against me attacking my character and unsuccessfully tried to get me barred from the bar as I make him uncomfortable.
can anyone else make sense of this nonsense? I just don’t get the sudden hate at me for no reason. I honestly think he is playing mind games as well and it’s so immature of him.
