How long does it take to regret a break up ladies?

My 22 year old girlfriend who loved me and wanted to marry me (so she says) flew off the handle in a fight with me and told me to delete her phone number and have a nice life. It was over something very petty, but there has been a build up from this. I am loved by her parents, extended family and all her friends. One called me her "trophy" boyfriend, whatever that means. So as the days go on, I hurt more.. Basically I am wondering how long it is going to take her to regret leaving me? Will it be when all the little stuff I did for her isn't there anymore? Or people asking about us? Tell me ladies.

Your girl will never regret leaving you. She has an 'agenda', as all women do, that has to be met to keep the relationship going. And since you failed her 'agenda', she called the shot and ended it with you.

Or perhaps, she purposely broke it off because she has another guy in her sights. A BIGGER catch - most likely some douchebag jerk who has more value than you do.

Girls complain about us guys being 'players'. Seriously, women can go f*ck themselves with that insult because honestly, THEY ARE PLAYERS TOO.

"Trophy" boyfriend, eh? Haha, that sounds like a compliment, but also could be a red flag. Like you have competition but you were currently #1 for now.

The day that she DOES regret leaving you is when her current boyfriend, or whichever guys she's chasing after, treat her like complete trash and don't give her any respect in return, to which she can't handle it anymore and breaks it off. Then she'll realize the better things she had with ya, and will want to come back.

And sadly, if you do take her back, you lose your dignity. She'll feel like she can ditch you again in a moment's notice, even if it's another bullsh*t reason.

Your best bet is to move on. I'd personally would want revenge on this chick if it happened to me, but she'll get the karma she's due.

Does she often fly off the handle and "break up" with you?

If not, then I'd guess she's not going to regret breaking up with you anytime soon. Sure, she may be sad or miss you somewhat for a while, that's natural in any breakup. But if she was mad/annoyed enough to end the relationship then it's usually gone past the repairable stage.

We got into a big fight a month or two back and she was ready to pack up and leave then.. told me she lost all feelings for me and we needed to "start over".. so we did. Now this.

"Starting over" never works. It's a line we tell ourselves in hopes all the problems will go away. They do... for a while. But of course they come back.

Yes, it's going to be the little stuff. For example if you two used to watch the NBA together, while barbecuing, if she goes home and watches the NBA, she'll remember the barbecuing. If it was you that hurt her, she'll definitely be upset.. But when she remmebers the little stuff, she might not regret leaving you, she'll just miss the memories. If she is disgusted about wht you did, sorry she's not coming back.

Yup, did it in a text too. Didn't even have the courtesy to sit down face to face or even call. It was the best year I've ever had in any relationship, and she just threw me aside. My mom said that in 2-3-4 weeks that it will really hit her. Not having the small stuff, etc.

The fact that her brother is almost like her boyfriend, I am always second to him. He insults me and she lets it happen, never defends me. Something from my sexual past was uncovered that I didn't tell her about and it is very petty.

Yeah. I mean basically I told a mutual friend in confidence that I still think about wanting to do it from time to time, but that I loved her and I won't cheat. Girl was my whole world.
