Why do guys keep trying to hit on women that have no interest with pickup lines? Can't they see how bad it makes them look?

I just don't understand why some try so hard. I picture myself harassing and saying cheesy pickup lines and it sounds pathetic. I can't even say the things some guys say without cringing but they're serious.

No man does that without certain interest. Naturally men are hornier than women and there are men with even a higher sexual drive than others who think about sex 24/7. So, such men are pro active and will hit-on any fuckable female, no offense intended. It’s just a pro active trick based on Error Management Theory (EMT) where in 10 women, 1 woman would give in / be interested. That’s why some men get laid more than others.

They dont understand that women hate men that other women dont love. Nothing they can say or do to an individual woman will make them be liked and appreciated. For men, having a woman love you isn't personal. Its her fandom of you.

we don't need to be loved as our mothers did (maybe a little emotional validation wouldn't be bad though), but women also don't need to be looked after like we're their fathers either.
