My friends with benefits acting a little odd, why would this be?

30 (f) and 28 (m) have been getting to know each other for around 3 months, we recently had a fall out over 2 months ago and have started speaking again. The fall out was him calling it off as he has gone to work away for a few months in another country. I didn’t understand why he needed to call it off as to me it was nothing deep. When he called it off I deleted him and he went mental and asked me why I wouldn’t let him finish what he had to say and just delete me like that. Previous to this he has tried to make me jealous, is always the first checking my social media and starts stupid arguments.

Since we have started speaking again we have been getting on which I’ve missed. But he has been saying certain things like:
If I send him a photo on Snapchat he said ‘ Its funny how your sending me photos you have sent to all different guys’ then calls me a liar when I told him I haven’t.
We was exchanging nudes and he said a certain part of my body (private parts) looked different, which I found really odd!

Why would he act like this?

First of all, you mean to say you just deleted him while you were still having a conversation? Like in the middle of it? That’s incredibly rude and toxic. You don’t do that. At 30 you shouldn’t have to be taught common decency.

Anyway. The reason he’s actingnlike he does is because you’re not chasing after him and you’ve made sure he knows he’s not that special to you. He’s jealous that there may be others that you’re more or equally interested in as him and his male ego has been hurt. The moment you were to fall for him or make him think you did he’d do a 180 and be out of your life because then he ”got” you and it’s no longer interesting (his male ego has been catered to).

He is 28 already. He is not mature enough to be in such a relationship. I'd cool it off to avoid further complications honestly.
