What are reasons people stare at black women?

I sat today in a train and was minding my business on my phone. Then, a man, who was sitting beside me on the other side, was constantly starring at me. I found it quite uncomfortable and I thoughr he maybe was starring because of my skin tone? My hair? Or maybe the way I sat? … So I‘m asking myself what are the reasons why you would stare at a black woman? Be completely honest.

I just need to make this very official here okay? As a straight white man, and I'm speaking for myself here... I'm not noticing black people's "blackness" I honestly dont gaf about race AT ALL. If I was looking at a black woman it's because I'm looking at a woman, not a black woman. you get my meaning? In other words I find you attractive, I like what I see, I might want to get your number, but I'm not concerned with your features in THAT way. I'm interested in the fact that I like the overall package and find you attractive. I don't know if that's what this guy was doing but he sure might have been. And he could have just been timid and afraid to approach you. And maybe you projected what you were thinking in some way through body or eye language and so he just never approached.
