Why did a guy on the street start following me walking next to me and keep talking to me?

I never responded or looked his way. I found it funny at one point. Maybe thats just a random response but it was a weird thing cause i dont know you. To be clear i wasn't scared or mad or anything. Im a pollyanna type person. I just stay happy. And he didn't give me any dangerous vibes.

I just dont generally talk to strange men who say hi out the blue on the street. I don't know them.

He was like saying hi and saying Where are you going?
You dont want to talk to me
And then at the end of the block he turned down the side street and said See you later.

Which is funny cause i never even walk in this area of town so i know he doesn't recognize me and i likely won't see him later.

The whole thing was a bit comical but weird and I don't know.

He probably found you interesting and wanted to talk to you. Perhaps he thought you were cute or he just wanted company?

Its just so random and i never know how to respond. I just freeze up.

I would just tell him I don't want to talk and continue with my day. I've never had another guy do that to me, though.

interesting. I probably wouldn't say that cause you never know in this big city whos secretly crazy and waiting to get angry and attack you.

Fair point. I've just never had an issue, and I wouldn't know what else I'd do, save for just ignoring the person.
