Why does this guy at the gym turn his head and stare at me whenever he sees me (almost like I look familiar) but doesn’t talk to me?

There’s this guy I started noticing at the gym more and every time I see him he stares at me for a little while even when I catch him and we make eye contact. Sometimes he turns all the way around even as I’m walking by. He hasn’t come to talk to me though. It’s almost like a look like I look familiar and we’ve met before but we haven’t at all LOL.

He’s probably interested but shy. It’s also generally pretty frowned upon to bother a woman at the gym. So, say hi to him the next time you see him.

I don’t think we’re usually within close enough distance though. Also does it mean anything if I am walking past a guy who’s just standing there and then he follows me somewhere then says something to me in passing or whatever? I don’t want to overthink things but it happens to me a lot. I never really got a lot of male attention before when I was less attractive.
