This is someone who has known me from younger through parents, and I had been apologising for being socially awkward last year because it has been a while since we have seen each other. He said not to worry, I never thought that and also said ‘dw, nothing has to be awkward between us, dw’ ?
Can this be said in a platonic manner, I’m not sure. I then didn’t how to respond and said ok that’s good haha and then tried to start up a conversation about our module, and he didn’t seem interested or bothered. This confused me, as he has been staring really hard for a few times recently, but maybe I have imagined it. I don’t know why I did this but I said I was confused about how he seems neutral but also has been staring at me, and he said he didn’t remember doing that and to not worry about it.
i feel like I have done something dumb here but I am not sure, and I do not tend to pick up well on social cues and tone indicators, especially over text, so please don’t judge me too much :P
