So today is my birthday. And I’m in isolation because I was diagnosed with COVID. lucky me.
My boyfriend tested negative a few times already so he is not in quarantine. Keep in mind that we live together. His life is going usually.
For my birthday this year he gave me… A peace of cake. Literally. With a candle on top. I feel so disappointed, I was expecting at least something to lift up my mood.
The worst part - he got himself A BIKE. Just yesterday… For himself. Just before my birthday.
He saw my disappointment and said “We’ll you sad you don’t need anything, so I thought I will save us money”. Our budget is fine. But what pisses me off the most - he GOT HIMSELF A BIKE and I got a peace of cake. While for his birthday I put so much effort every year.
Is it wrong of me to expect more? I’m so pissed. We’re not even talking, unfortunately I can’t even leave the apartment.
