Why does my guy friend say this?

So whenever I have a crush on someone, i ask my guy friend for advice or help. He would ask why i like this guy and i would say something like “he has a cute face and good aura.” And my guy friend would say “that sounds a lot like me.”

Other times he has said “oh your type seems to be me” a few times but i’ve brushed it off or changed topics. And he doesn't say this as a joke but in a serious manner.

What could this mean?

What i’m confused is yes, i also think he may have developed feelings for me, but he’s never actually said he liked me. He never properly made a move except say weird things like this or “how do you feel about me” questions lol
