Why does my guy friend laugh at everything I say or do?

My guy friend likes to laugh at literally everything I say or he'd tease me about it constantly...

Me, him and our other female friend went out at a restaurant to grab a bite. The waiter took our drink orders and I asked her if I could have a mineral water without lemon.

My guy friend, just looked at me, smiled, turned his head and let out a slight chuckle whilst shaking his head.

Then he started teasing me and mocking my voice about this. Telling me that it's garnish, not "lemon".

He always does this especially towards me. He literally pays attention to every single little thing I do or say and it becomes comedy. I feel embarassed and a little insecure sometimes. I end up wondering if there's something wrong with me lol

Whoa dude, your boy is being a bit much. Always cracking jokes at your expense ain't cool, even if he's just messing around.

A couple possibilities what's up with him:

- He might lowkey got a crush on you and this is how he shows it, in a really immature way though.

- Could be trying to one-up you in front of your other friend for attention. Boys get competitive over dumb stuff sometimes.

- Might just find it funny to get a rise out of you 'cause he knows you'll take the bait. But that's more his problem than yours.

Next time he starts in on you, call him out. Be like "dude enough already, you always gotta nitpick everything I say." Or hit him with his own medicine and tease him back twice as hard so he knows how it feels!

You're probably overthinking it - it says more about his issues than you. Don't let some dude live rent free in your head, feel me? You're cool, he's the one acting dumb!
