I was pulling out a heavy bjg fixture and I was struggling and it was hard for me to move it and I saw this guy just staring at and I turn back and he was still staring, like why? does he likes to see girls struggling?

I should be able to offer to help someone who's visibly struggling, but women made me hesitate to do that. This is a conversation you should be having with other women. I've gotten an attitude just for holding a door open for a woman not that long ago. You want help, use your words and ask for it, I'm not going to risk a woman making a scene and yelling about how I'm a "creep" or trying to be a "macho man helping a little girlie in need."

If he does offer to help he is guilty of benevolent sexism and enforcing gender roles and patriarchy since she’s doesn’t need no man!

If he doesn’t help her, he’s demonstrating a lack of empathy and kindness—or worse he gets perceived and somehow “enjoying” watching someone struggle with something.

Yes, women really do complain about this stuff. Vehemently in fact. Men asking to move furniture or heavy objects for them. I have literally experienced it in my life first hand.

Once upon a time a man could simply say, “Excuse me miss. I noticed you seem to have a little trouble there. Mind if I help?” Now this is like some affront to womankind’s achievements and capabilities. It’s ridiculous.

Just because women place men in impossible lose-lose situations doesn’t absolve me of my responsibility to choose. And when faced with a lose-lose situation, you pick the lesser of two evils. So yes, I would choose to risk pissing off some woman who would throw a bitch fit to her feminist friends where they would all cluck about how awful men are.
