Do taurus males lie a lot?

So I'm friends with a taurus guy and he's a lot younger then me, one night while drinking he messages me and sends me the egg plant emoji then sent the Hot emoji. I asked him "what you think I'm hot) lol and he kinda plays it off then says "do you wanna "egg plant" me basically! Then he says your always flirting with me! I see you!! Now I'm married ok. And ya I kinda like him but he already knows I would never cheat on my husband. And I told him that. And he's just like "oh know one needs to know bla bla bla"... Ok so next morning... he sends me a message saying That he never said Any of that, but started out by asking if I was sober yet and just being goofy. Then did a complete 360 turn around and basically said He only likes me as a friend and he doesn't wanna get with me, and then blocks me! Well the next day he unblocks me! And messages me saying the same things about how we're Just friends and he never implied he wanted to sleep with me. (Which he did) and that he was pissed off because he doesn't understand why I would assume that! I was just like "it's ok I understand people say stupid shit while drinking bla bla bla... so right now we're still "friends" But my question is why would he lie and say he never said those things? And then go back and make it out to be my fault?
