My ex was arrested for abuse but I decided to drop the charges. He wasn’t physical except the time he refused to let me leave our house and he blocked the door and bear hugged me to stop me from leaving and restrained me away from the door. Anyway, the reason why it got to that point is because he would record me all the time, listen into his children baby monitor when I was home alone (I didn’t know about that until the end). I felt like I was constantly under surveillance all the time and he’d always threaten to kick me out so I couldn’t cope with it anymore.
Mental health got bad because of all of this. Anyway, he’s been speaking to me for months since, keeps reminding me how I make him anxious and how being arrested has given him anxiety. Tells me all “good” things he’s done for me and says how I didn’t appreciate it etc. I guess he’s trying get to take responsibility for what he did. When I asked what he wants he says I’m pressuring him but he got angry me and called me unfaithful when I was speaking to a guy even though my ex said we are both single?
This has been going on for a few months now and I don’t understand why he’s talking to me or acting like this? I mean I want to know what his motive is
