Is it possible guys rush into a relationship if they've met a pretty girl?

Question

There's a re-occuring pattern in my life when I meet a man: it's that he wants to rush into things and "claim" me right away.

And so I've been told that I am not your average looking girl a lot, and I am wondering if this is how men behave when they feel there's a lot of competition? Like they're afraid to lose me to another guy?

Honestly, if so, it's not so great because nobody really takes the time to know me, for me, and love me for who I am as a person...

Sometimes it’s difficult to find the right balance, especially when you don’t know someone that well. The physical attraction is full speed ahead but the other aspects of attraction need to catch up. I actually made the mistake once of moving too slowly with a girl. She was complete model material (she in fact was part time) and I was so intimidated by her beauty that I was petrified of doing or saying something that would push her away. However in the end, I pushed her away by dithering and not being assertive enough. She felt I was indecisive and a waste of time. I’ll never forget her as the one that I completely fucked up. My advice? Talk to each other and don’t be afraid of communication. If it’s disastrous, at least you know it just wasn’t meant to be.

I think that's a very real factor that you should consider, because it may just be the reality in your case, and there's probably not much you can do about it. Just try to work with it the best you can. Try to corral their energy and use it to make them date you the way you want to be dated. Take charge and tell them to slow down when they need to. You control the brakes in the relationship.

You get that energy connection most guys think that it's your beauty if they don't understand the feeling this rushing to their body and sometimes girls have that same feeling and most of the time it's more the girl that has that feelings in the guys guys don't understand that girls can feel it on the inside
So yes both guys and girls rush into things because they feel that moment and it is a very very beautiful moment they can become intense depending on how deep you can feel things like I said once again it is the most beautiful feeling you'll ever feel become one with somebody this. Myself has limerence so I often get feelings fast and want to rush it but that's my condition really.
As for the guys your talking about that's for sure a possibility in more of theory of competition and just wanting you so they've got a great catch.

Either way they need to get to know you for you. Even with my limerence I try my best it's hard but to try remain logical in that sense of getting to know them to see if we fit, to see who they are.
Because otherwise I will get attached to someone I don't actually like or don't fit.

It's probably either an inexperienced guy who's about to go through his first heart break or a player/fuckboy who knows all the right lies to say to try and hit it and quite it real quick.

Are you sure there moving fast or are you moving at different speeds at different times.
I thought the same thing but ended up finding out I move in to a relationship pretty quickly the first couple of weeks than I slow it down a lot.
Could you start slow and than move fast after a couple of weeks?

If they are quick to jump in a relationship that fast and your not average looking it's because they think that you aren't going to sleep with them if you are not in a relationship. It's the only reason they think your hot and they want to bang you. Most guys at that age aren't thinking fairy tale and romance. They see a hot girl and hormones take over. Sure they will date you but that's not the main reason they want to jump in a relationship.

I think it’d depend what his priorities are/what he looks for. I wondered this too at some points. More of it has to do with your vibe and energy than purely just looks. I also think you have to let a guy know you’re not always available. When you have a full life and lots of great things going on and you’re pretty, there will be a natural magnetism about you that draws them near.
I kind of disagree with your question about them though rushing into a relationship with a girl who’s really pretty. In fact, I’ve heard the contrary which is if they feel the girl has so much going on for herself and is so pretty, where is the room for him to fit, or that the girl probably has so many options that he’s not that special. It depends on his ego.
