Are these signs a guy could be interested in me or just being friendly in a friend way?

Here’s a list of things he has done

-He defends me when someone says or does something to me that he thinks isn’t right
-He started engaging in some physical touches and getting close to me
- He looks at me A LOT
-Always checks on me all the time when we are working and make sure I’m doing well
-He asked me to hang out with him so we can get to know each other better
-He open up to me about his disabilities and other things when we hung out along the first time (which was pretty fast since we only known each other for about a month)
-At the beginning he use to always ask my friend about my whereabouts when I wasn’t at work.
-He did other things but I don’t feel like naming everything.

I just don’t want to read into anything that isn’t meant to be deep. So is this just him being friends or possibly could be interested in me?

If I had to guess I’d say he likes you, and is nervous about making a move because he doesn’t know if those feelings are mutual. I’d throw him a little hint. For me, if a girl is touchy-feely with me, throws a leg on me, or talks to me with a certain look or tone and I’m interested, I’m all on it. Hopefully he’s a guy that can read the signs lol

I believe that he is interested in you. When guys take initiative by themselves it means that they can see you romantically. However it doesn't necessarily mean that your relationship will turn out to be deep. Maybe he is desparate for a relationship, we don't really know. In general I think time will tell.
