He responded with im good, good, good good

Then he said "how are you doing?" With a slightly louder voice

Then I replied with "im good! You?:

Then we proceeded to speak about a concert, anyway why did he say hi how are you and then how are you doing?

I think it was an open ended question. He hadn’t spoken to you in 6 weeks and probably wanted to hear something more about what you’ve been up to than “I’m good thanks.”

I mean I’m just guessing here, but maybe that was it? I don’t know. Either way 6 weeks in a long time.

He probably likes you and for some reason he got motivated to call you. It's possible that he was pushed by his friends to do it that's why he behave in such way. Don't forget that for some guys it's hard to make the first step so when they discuss it with their friends, they can push them to actually do things, like your crush who decided to call out of the blue
