So we talked a while back and it never really "worked". I'm two grades lower than him and he is considered a "player". Now there was a girl talking to him the same time as I. She cut him off completely. I kinda do have a problem with her but she doesn't have a problem with me, it's like she doesn't show shade she's actually pretty nice despite what happened. Anyways, I've heard that he tries to talk to her like a friend but she doesn't really respond or go out of her way to talk to him. Why would he do that? It's like he can't get her. He also does little things for her when she doesn't ask, it's like she's cold with him. He also looks at her with sad eyes ( my brother told me, because he is in the class with them) He comments under my pics likes all my pics and he kinda seems uncomfortable around me sometimes (he dumped me). Why would he do this. Lastly two girls like him and he talks to them like friends why again? Anyways from this who do you think he likes more? Or is he playing with my head because I'm young?

Okay there's a lot to unpack here. Firstly, he likes the girl that he can't have because he can't have her, rejection does weird things to people. Secondly, for the other two girls he could just be genuinely friends with them with no ulterior motives. Thirdly for you specifically I think that he might like you as a person but that doesn't mean he wants to date you.

Chemistry doesn't always equal romance, some chemistry means you might want to open up bakery with someone and different chemistry means you want to marry them. I would say let this guy go, and maybe date a guy from your grade because things get wild after high school with everybody going off different directions and trying to get with a guy who's going to be leaving you soon anyway is just not worth it

What if they stare at each other does that make her seem like she's interested? Or she stares at him occasionally but she doesn't make a move? Because I left this out that He actually dated me but broke up with me after she cut him off? What does that mean? But he still talks to me and drops hints that he likes me? And when he comments it's flirtatious and stuff. What about this?

Do you think he regrets doing that to her? Because he through shade at her about their situation the other day. Why would he bring stuff from the past about them?

The steering doesn't have to equate to any sort of intimate energy. It could be conveying a lot of different energy, and it sounds like he likes her a lot more than he likes you but if he's still trying to be flirty with you he might just be trying to keep you around in case his plans with her don't work out. I think you got to take the high road cut him off and try and find other people to be with, because it'll be a lot better on you in the long run

I would say so yes, because he broke up with you because another girl disapproved so that means that he valued her idea of him more than your relationship with him. But hey, you are young so just enjoy what you can right now, and if things don't end well, which I guarantee they won't, it's fine you'll have other relationships later

Okay I figured 🤷🏼‍♀️, and according to my brother, he was around her when she was talking about another guy romantically and he was around the area and after that my brother said that he looked kind of upset but he didn't show any signs of anger or anything, I think that is why he all of a sudden started to like me again.
