Should I remove my former boss from my Instagram?

That boss was someone I did not get along with at all. He manipulated me, put me down in front of others, fake towards me and yet he still follows me on my Instagram and I him. The only reason I have not removed him is because I am worried if I was to do that he would not give me a good reference. However, I have removed his number from my phone and WhatsApp. Thankfully, though, I have left that job for something new.

Most places don't give references any more for legal reasons. Its simply they were employed from such and such to such and such. I had a friend who worked in HR and moved up to corporate and that as what she told me. Giving a bad reference can lead to all sorts of lawsuits.
