I rejected this guy and ignores me but is nice about it?

Well I've got to say I liked this guy for 5 months or so and he never made a move. So I tried to move on by distancing myself from him and finding other friends and boys. I must've seen me with a boy because he texted me and said that he was interested to hangout. Now he's ignoring me at school even when I try to make eye contact with him. He's obviously really nice because he hasn't told anyone that he asked me out and still says hi sometimes. He's a lot different to the other boys as well because I see he actually listens to other people when they have troubles and gives them advice. I don't what to do now since it's quite awkward and I'm quite nervous around him.

You're a real awkward girl. Based on what I gather, you never replied to his text and he was interested at that time. He's not a jerk, so this obsession you have with hid behavior strange. What were you expecting? Him to be mean to you or call you out your name?

Here's an idea: stop doing nothing and expecting him to carry everything. TALK to him, in person, not over stupid Instagram. You seem to think all you to do is show up.

If you want to be his friend, talk to him.. if you don't, just let it be, it will get less awkward as time passes then you will get used to it... It's a good thing that he is still nice with you, you can still be nice with him from a distance if you don't become friends
