Advice on guys behavior?

Hey! So I'm just hoping for some advice or opinions on a situation with a coworker of mine. So this guy that I work with I've been interested in and I finally had the courage to go up to him and ask if I could give him my phone number, he seemed really interested and put my number in his phone and even texted me right there so I would have his number as well, so then before walking away I said we should grab drinks sometime and he said for sure. This was on a Friday so on Monday I texted him saying what days I had off that week and asked if he wanted to get a drink, he replied saying he did want to get a drink with me but he was busy that week, I said no worries we can see how next week looks and I haven't heard anything since which has almost been a whole week now. Of course I've seen him at work and he's nice and we chat but I'm not sure if I should text him again since so far I've been the one initiating everything or if maybe he'll follow up later or if he's just not interested, which I guess is confusing because he said twice that he was interested in going out for drinks.

It seems he is not that into you. If he was he would do more of an effort to go out for drinks or hang out with you.
As a guy whenever I ask a girl out and she says no, because xyz. I take that as a a polite no. However if she says no but offers a different date then that's a yes.
My advice- onto the next one

it doesn't look good. it sux people are like that. the only thing you can do is organize an after work thing with other friends or coworkers and just happen to invite him. that way there is no pressure on either of you. say something like "my friends and I are goimg to [name of bar or pub] aroumd six, maybe i see you there?" if he doesn't come maybe he's not as cool as you thught amd you meet someone who is with people that do want to spend time with you.
