Can you guys please explain this behavior?

So I've noticed my boyfriend is erasing and messages with female friends. I did get to see part of his conversation and it was fairly platonic. I looked in his phone initially because his behavior is a bit weird. He literally takes this phone everywhere from the bathroom to the shower. I dont think he is a cheater but this behavior has me questioning things a bit. Should i talk to him about it? Or just keep an eye on things? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

While I don’t know the full situation. It sounds to me like he is trying to hide something. If it were me, and my girlfriend did that, I think I would ask why she kept erasing messages.
You don’t have to be accusatory, just kind of like wondering, kind of matter of fact. Why do you erase all your messages? If he gets defensive, I would say something is up.
In short, if it bothers you, which it sounds like it does, it is time to confront the issue, and ask.

It sounds like he is hiding something. And just because you saw part of a conversation, doesn't mean it was all platonic. Not all conversations are steamy 24/7.

I'd agree with @Freedom007. Gently asking would be the best route. Let his body language and tone answer, not his words.
