Guy's Behavior

What's up with his reactions? Was he jealous, or even flirting?

Our class had some soccer matches those last few days and as some sort of mom friend and aspiring doctor I made sure to bring a first aid kit.
The boys' goalkeeper (also one of my crush's close friends) was lightly injured at some point and I was bandaging his knee. My crush approached us and started making fun of me and my bandaging skills (he often teases me and I teas him back but he seemed specially eager this time, it was kinda unlike him). He started looking for injuries in himself, he had none but since he fell few times I asked him if he was feeling any pain and I told him that I had a cream for muscle pain too.
I gave him the cream and he held the tube with his teeth while rubbing it in to which I just raised an eyebrow, laughed and said "I have hands, you know?".
Keep in mind that this man is an absolute moron (a charming one, but a moron still). Was he just acting stupid as usual or there's something else to it?
