I reached out to a guy I used to work with 6 years ago. We wouldn't talk as much at work but I always had a crush on him. He recently mentioned that when we worked together he always wanted to talk to me but he was always shy. Me and him remember a exact moment when I was making coffee for a customer and we both smiled at each other saying hello and I walked away since I got so shy. Past days he has been asking what am I doing for the day. Just now he said "we should hang out sometime when you're free. I'm going to sleep but I will hear from you soon good night". Something that confuses me is he calls me bro or dude and I feel friend zoned when he calls me that so what does this mean

It seems like there is some attraction. I wouldn’t think to much into it. Just be cool but also yourself, and if he is interested he will pursue you.
