I'd recently came out of a really messy fucked up relationship with a co worker of mine and I was so bitter about it. I thought I'd never full in love again and I wasn't meant to be happy until I made a amazing friend who changed my life for the better.

He was sick of me always moaning about my ex and how shitty he treated me. He showed me I my self worth a lot then I believed and that I shouldn't be so broken hearted over a man child who didn't deserve me or my tears. For the first time this friend made me feel happy with myself again and tried to help me move on.

He set me up on tinder without telling which at first I was super angry about with him but then he showed me how many matches I was getting. I thought I was ugly and no man would want me so it came as a shock and I was very flattered by how many guys were begging to date me.

My first date was terrible but then I started talking to another guy for a couple months and we eventually met up in the town. We were both at opposite sides of the clock tower and couldn't find each other lol. Then once we did we went off to a bar and now 3 years today we've just put a offer in for are first house together all because of my amazing friend

I was late for work and had to catch a later train. I was already a bit annoyed with myself for being late and once I arrived. The train didn't move. I was supposed to get the train next to this one instead.
I go on the right train and then it turns out the first one was the correct train after all. Announcers and signs just misguided me. Menand many other passengers stepped out of that wrong train, I was like 'what in the hell' and there she was. A tall beautiful blonde... Equally Pissed off.
She was stressing out because the next train wouldn't be in another hour. I suggested going to a local bar and eat something while waiting, and talking about where we were going and how much trains suck was what you could say our first date.
Turns out that besides hating trains we had a lot more in common, and would go on an actual date together the weekend that followed.

where I met my now husband is a funny story, I was in a town and the next week I was going to a wedding, it was a distant friend that was getting married, anyway I went for a coffee, and I had to share a table with a guy, we talked and it happened that he was also invited to the same wedding as me, so we decide to meet then and escort each other,

My teacher asked me to tutor some other students having trouble in calculus class. My ex was one. I became friends with her and her boyfriend at the time. After highschool a bunch of us rented a house together near the University. I got a really nice job as a wan engineer but it was third shift as she also worked nights we started hanging out. Her and her boyfriend had parted years before. I told her I was going to ask this girl I knew out and the next day she sent flowers to my desk at work.

One I met trying to stay with in her hospital because her ex didn't want to go with her after she drank bleach meaning to die so I stayed with her turns out it was alright no problems but we were in all night. Then she came back to mine we fell asleep for half the day as we cuddled.
Then It didn't work out because turns out she preferred her ex the one who didn't care about her dying. So that's how that works. Not really a uplifting story.

I met my wife as she walked by my house on the way to the beach. She would not tell me her name but told me where she graduated from college. It was on the school bus where we'd have conversations but one day I was bullied and let slip my feelings and well the bully decided to make this public announcement which fell flat when she grabbed and kissed me (in someway I suppose I should thank that bully)

She left the school a few months later so I'd visit her at work and take her chocolates on my way to the restaurant I worked in

She had to move to Poland because her grandmother is/was ill and we split amicably before she left where I gave her a white gold necklace I'd bought her (still wish I'd been a mad enough bastard to buy an engagement ring and pop the question)

At some point I'll have enough money and time together to go and visit her

I never told him at first because I assumed he was straight and I was afraid of losing our friendship. I was also still a kid trying to figure out my sexuality so I didn’t really know how to process my feelings at all.

A few years later they were visiting their girlfriend, and I met up with them (not the girlfriend) for a coffee, one thing lead to another and a few days later they got kicked out of their girlfriends house and they came to stay with me until they went back home.
