Am I coming off too thirsty? what should I do?

He has a floor business and I’m sure he is pretty busy but when we text we might get a good three text messages in and after that it’ll either take him a hour or sometimes 4 hours to text me back and I’ll text him and he usually texts right back but I feel like I’m doing too much. Should I text him how he texts me?

No, just be natural and understanding that his schedule is different than yours. Your availability is different than his. And that you guys are working, busy adults. Do what is natural. Reply to him when you can, just like he does. Reply when you want, just like he does.

Yeah, that's a dumb idea. How about instead of keeping score of who texts who when, set up plans IN PERSON.

During working hours don’t need to text him. At night you can call him. Don’t double text unless you need to send facts

When I do call him he never answers then he will text a few mins later saying sorry he missed my call so I don’t even bother anymore
