He never interacts with me but he’s always watching me and following me?

A guy I used to like, we talked briefly and then stopped for reasons unknown. It just didn’t flow naturally. So now every time I post he watches my stories. He never likes my post and he never says anything to me. He even follows my business page but still radio silence. I’m a little weirded out by it. I don’t care if he doesn’t like me but why does he keep watching and not saying a peep?

I keep seeing similar questions here:"Why does he/she still watches my stories?". And there is often an underwhelming reason behind that: some people just watch stories passively, letting them run automatically, like a short TV channel, and don't care if their view gets marked in the stories of the others. I grant that, met some of them.
Even in case he specifically selects only the stories he wants to watch, watching "content" on Instagram is not necessarily a sign of interest, it's just seeing what people do for entertainment. It's difficult to read something in that. Mind that, most likely, he is also watching other 30 stories of other girls at the same time, but that doesn't mean he is into all of them. Instagram is just not meant to be a dating site and casual usage is more common than trying to express romantic/sexual interest through indirect actions like watching a story.
At most, what you can extract from that is that he doesn't try to ignore you, which means it gives chances to conversate if you want to start it. Not sure about romantic chances, but casual contact looks possible.
