Okay so this thing has been bothering me for a while. I joined a new school this year. There's a guy in my class who has bad blood with a close friend of mine. They both hate each other to the core. Because of their history, I decided not to interact with the guy at all and am cordial but not open for friendship with him. I also forgot to mention that I am very reserved and most men find me intimidating (a mutual guy friend told my best friend I scare him).
I try being nice to people but I don't understand why guys are scared of me. They would be polite and respectful but they would never flirt.
Okay now back to the real question. The guy that I previously mentioned (who had badblood with my friend) often turns around to look at me in class. i can feel his stare on me, but I always ignore it. Also this one time, while I was sitting alone on a bench, he came and stood in front of me for a good 10-15 seconds and just stared at me with a serious expression. He also always is in my line of sight but surprisingly, he never approached me, or gave any other hints of interest. And no, he is not a shy guy.
Why would he look at me so much and never approach?
