After sex, what will likely to happened?

Hello

I need an opinion from a man.

I met this 35 year old man at the gym, we have been friends for a year, very platonic and always flirting, he tried many times to kiss me, but we did not move forward.
We lost contact in May of this year, but we reconnected 3 weeks ago, where everything has moved faster, more intimate, more kisses and a lot of touching.
Yesterday one thing led to another and we ended up having sex. He was very good, and very gentle (since he knows that I had only had one sexual partner my whole life) so I could feel that he cared that I was okay during the sex.

The thing is that after sex, clearly he fell asleep completely, totally knocked out, but there was no cuddling after sex or hugs, he ofcourse kissed me when i leaved his house.

When I left his house, he called me, because he was behind me in his car, and the conversation was nice, we laughed a lot, but now I feel a little distance from him, I made it very clear to him that I am not a woman of one night stand, I am not that type of woman, nor the type of woman that tolerates men ghosting me, and that if the day we finally have sex he decided to disappear, out of respect to tell me that he only likes me for sex.

But well, now that this has happened, I don't know how to read his distance, he has written to me several times today, but I want a man's opinion, please.

After sex, what will likely to happened?
