This is the scenario. I was telling my doctor that I was considering getting cosmetic surgery. He responded to me, "you're beautiful." He said this at least two or three times. (He also said he loved how I looked, that I looked so stylish and healthy and he loved the way I dressed.)
He is a very nice and supportive doctor, but I can't help but feel he has been flirty with me during other visits.. but it's hard to say for sure what he's thinking.
How do you read this comment? Do you think he has a crush on me or likes me romantically? Do you think he could have been just trying to advise me against surgery (although he didn't specifically tell me not to do it)?
For the record, I like him a lot.
