Hey okay so my guy friend *Alex* and I have been friends for like 2 years now, my ex-boyfriend *Mike* and I dated for like 2 weeks and broke up in March.
*Alex* never met my ex in person he did see a picture of him and I didn't mention my ex to him often maybe like 2 or 3 times and *Alex* knew we broke up and we never spoke about it again
*Alex* went away for work last month and we didn't speak much because he was busy. *Alex* my guy friend got back in town and we all got together for drinks it was in a group we chatted about who's dating who I didn't bring anyone up from my past
*Alex* and I spoke about work it was a very brief conversation. I was the last to get dropped home and after a few words he just RANDOMLY blurts out my ex's name right out of the blue I was shocked because so many months had passed he asked me two questions:
How's *Mike*? and do you still see him? He doesn't know my ex boyfriend at all and to remember someone's name who hasn't been mentioned for months and its a break up that happened months ago it was not at all recent so guys what's your opinion on this why would a guy friend ask these questions and remember my exs name? Thanks.
