Google it. Just saw a whole thread full of proud cityboys listing ways they take advantage of women like eating her kids snacks, stealing bills from her purse, making her split rent and biy him textbooks, preying on less attractive girls for sex acts and money, getting girls to buy them food etc. Its not even shocking to me. The only interesting part is that these guys are being totally honest and frank about it. Usually guys lie like they breathe which i can relate to. Im a nice but still very honest frank woman. I can't relate to beimg a coward like many guys lmfao.

Anyway google cityboys... New term and there's an instagram with clips of guys celebrating how they get girls to ask 'what are we?'

Sooo a bit of background (TikTok keeps me in the loop), the phrase City Boys came from City Girls lol (the group City Girls coined it first) the guys wanted their own phrase too. Same for hot girl/hot boy summer (hot girl came first, from Megan thee Stallion). All of this spawned back in summer 2019. Essentially these are just people being petty towards the opposite sex, and it’s not meant to be so very literal. The women started it to get back at the men who feel like they can do whatever they want. It’s about matching the energy of an f-boy, basically. But it all became one big joke.

Even if its a joke its based entirely on reality... Ita a great way to virally expose themselves. Many girls will never hear the truth stated so plainly.

Nobody wants to believe it but its true. They are being the most frank and honest many women will ever get the chance to hear from any man.

Not in every case is it based on reality. I’m not in complete disagreement — there are most definitely the jackass men exposing how they mistreat women. But some are just being ridiculous for views, to go viral or as a dumb joke. Unfortunately City Girls are in on this trend as well, a quick google search or even TikTok and Twitter shows them doing equally messed up things towards a guy. In general, I think it feeds into this bizarre approach to dating, normalizing the idea of accepting mistreatment, gaslighting, etc. It’s messed up but my hope is that the impressionable viewers have someone in their lives or even on social media that reminds them that certain actions are just not ok or acceptable.
