My crush keeps seeing me around a ton of guys and I don’t want him to think I’m popular with boys or taken. What should I do?

We’re not really friends yet and I’d want to get to know him a bit more and be on at least good friendly terms if I were to confess which means I can’t just tell him I’m single and he’s different from the other guys I know. I’m actually not super popular with boys but he’s already seen me twice with 2 upperclassmen and was directly in between a conversation with and me and another guy about me giving my number to a boy in our class. I’m a social person but I also want to seem approachable and I talk to him because I LIKE him not because I’m just being nice! What should I do?
