Guy's Behavior

Compliments, eye contact, smiles, but side hugs... Does he like me?

Okie dokie... where to begin... long story short. I like a guy. We go to church together. I've really only "known" him for 3 months but we met technically a year ago. He plays instruments I sing... he's my brothers best friend. We hang out like 3-4 times a week. I just started going to church when I "met" him so I wasn't really involved with any of the events. I started participating, and it just seems like he's trying to get closer to me. He's very very kind. My brother says he thinks he likes me because he's acting towards me, the same way he did with another girl he liked in the past. He invited me to be on worship team and he compliments me all the time. The other day he insinuated he wanted to write music to my lyrics. I was late to a lunch and he saved me a seat right next to him. He's been asking me questions about myself a lot. He remembers little details. He makes eye contact a lot. But here's a thing. The very confusing thing. I mentioned we hang out in group settings so I know he's probably trying to hide feelings. When we hug goodbye, everyone's standing around us. We do this side hug thing. But he like kinda squeezes my arm a few times. And I feel like we linger for like.5 seconds longer than needed. But according to every "does he like me" website out there, a side hug means definite friendship vibes. But like I also mentioned. We're always in front of everyone when we hug. Do you think he likes me? Cause I'm like 95% sure he does. But there's always those tiny mixed signals. And omg he's the PERFECT guy for me, I can't even breathe around him. Oh... ps... when we swim at his dock, I catch him doing push ups and stuff around me. Idek.. let me know what you 🤔

Today I saw him at worship rehearsal. I caught him looking at me a couple of times. But he was kinda stand offish. Which is not really like him. Wondering if I did something wrong? Or he changed his mind or something?
