Why is incel and MGTOW becoming so popular?

I thought MGTOW and incels were only weird white guys in their mom's basement. But today, I saw a good-looking fellow on the bus recording his MGTOW video saying, "I dont want a girlfriend; it's a waste of time. I use my energy to acquire currency..." And I thought, wow, this is a good-looking Spanish guy saying that. He looked like he had money, and he could get girls. He was not all like I pictured an MGTOW guy to be. I felt that people like MGTOW only existed in GaG or Reddit. I thought they were probably socially inept or weirdos, but he looked good.

What I wonder is why the MGTOW are still around. Why haven’t they gone their own way? When are they actually going to go and fuck off is my question.
