I had an awkward run-in with a guy I flirted before?

A couple of months ago this guy slid in my dms wanting to go out together, but then he became really rude and decided to cut me off his life making up his own excuses. Some gaslighting and insisting that I hurt his feelings. Then I figured out out this man was very official with a girl in like 2 months time. I knew he was just trying to use me as a ego booster or something. Anyway I bumped into him today at a cafe. Thank God I was with a friend so I was able to sit there. I saw him sitting with a friends. When he saw me first he looked Mildly annoyed and looked away. Hr looked like he was still mad at something or maybe that I had a guy friend with me? i immediately turned around and talked to my friend. When I sat down and shoot a brief glance he and his friends were whispering about me to each other. Then his girlfriend came. We didn’t stay long and left.
